Robin Glasser Sacknoff an award-winning photographer has always been intoxicated with the visual world around her. Originally a painter, she discovered her medium to be photography and seriously began her career as a photographer in the 1990’s. Sacknoff, a uniquely talented photographer,  expresses her love affair with the countries she visits, the places she goes, and their vibrant inhabitants and surroundings. Whenever she travels, she returns to tell her tale through photographic images that amuse and delight the viewer while inviting them to interpret the narrative. Sometimes she is found hidden in her images.

Sacknoff has had photos in various newspapers and magazines including Newsday, the Jewish Sentinel & Vibe magazine. She received her undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College and her master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She holds a degree in photography from The Fashion Institute of Technology. Sacknoff participates in numerous workshops. Her extensive travels include the Maine Workshop in Cuba, and the Il Chiostro Workshops in Italy which she has attended for the past eighteen years. She is presently a Teaching Assistant at the International Center of Photography.

Sacknoff has carved a niche for herself by specializing in the photography of exotic destinations, fine art, and life on the street. She exhibits extensively in the United States, Europe, and had a year long show touring  various cities in Israel and Argentina. In the last year, Robin has used her iphone exclusively and now considers herself an iphoneographer,  very excited to be on the cusp of the new digital mobile photography movement that  is changing the way we capture, edit, and share our images throughout  the world.
